Ivy plants and a real-life mosh pit are two very different things, but we can draw some similarities between the both of them. Both ivy plants and mosh pits involve a degree of crowding. Ivy can cover a large area of a wall or structure, and mosh pits often involve a dense crowd of people in a relatively small area, especially near the stage. Also, both ivy plants and mosh pits both move in an extreme random way. This is demonstrated in this piece by the long straps that can be held tight along with the small distressed part just below the pocket.
